Throttle only button on working

AD41P ,DPE. I'm having trouble with the throttle only button, I have lubed it and tried pressing with a flat head punch to engage, but it will not disengage shifting. Is this something that can be fixed without pulling it apart? I have looked for help on the internet all afternoon with zero results.

Pull the remote off. Check under the bottom. It depresses a metal bit underneath and is a push clip fit. Make sure the actual mechanical metal bit and spring are doing what they are meant to. Doesn’t take long. There is a wee grub screw on the bottom of the throttle handle. Take it out, pull lever off and the square bit pops off too.
