Throttle/shifter cable question<------------

I just installed a new Quicksilver 3000 classic to my boat with a mercruiser 350 carb. Now the throttle lever only when putting throttle forward boat goes backwards and throttle forward boat goes backwards, but throttle works ok what did I hook up wrong does anyone have a diagram of where cables go in control box unit Thanks

Didn't it come with instructions showing how to hook it up?

Having just installed a new shift cable and control, check your control for a different shift cable attachment opposite where it is currently attached. You might have just installed it on the wrong side on the control.
