need help with our engine, we decarbonized the engine today, when we shot the spray into one carburator the engine reved really high. two others when we sprayed it, alot of blue smoke came out and. Followed directions on the can, then checked the spark plugs three were clean, but the one connected to the carburator that revfed high when sprayed looked all burnt out.tried it in the water at full throttle no improvement, still only getting about 1/4 to 1/2 power. could we posssible need to replace the throttle cable? We also tried pumping the bulb wwhen at full throttle. Looked in the maunual and thinking about possible trying to adjust the throttle cable, is that possible for beginners like us? The engine is a 1989 johnson vro 4 cylinder 120hp. Any suggestions would be great. One more thing could it posssibly be the prop, recently bought the boat and previous owner said it was a good prop, however he also said the boat was in excellent condition.
