Hi Guys,

I have a 1988 Bayliner Cobra 2250 with 5.7 350. I really want to put through hull exhaust on my boat eventually. I am just starting to look into it, but I don't know if it is even possible on my boat? Anybody know this boat specifically? Can I go through the hull or do I have to go through the side? Is there a cheap way to be able to tone it down when wanted? I have a lot of questions if you can't tell.

Thanks for any help

And with a 350, next to nothing in perceptable performance increase. Just allot more V8 sound.

Posting pictures of inside your engine compartment and transom can help generate more input and ideas on how to route them.

What I did is purchased the following
2 "Y" connections in stainless, actually a straight length x 90mm dia with a 45 degree outlet mid way off 100mm dia.
2 x right angles in stainless x 100mm dia
2 x "U" shaped connections x 100mm dia
2 x exhaust tips x 100mm dia complete with exhaust flappers, very important you fit these.
A length of 90mm and 100mm water exhaust hose and some good hose clamps.
You must make sure though everything flows down hill. and note the bigger diameter you go the deeper the note," it?s a tight fit" if you go to a smaller diameter pipe the note increases dramatically.

As you can see in the picture the outlets are under the water line.

If you go from the risers straight out the back of the boat you will disturb the peace as its super loud and I wouldn?t recommend it.

Hope this helps with your project.
