Thru-hull exhaust

Would I get more HP or efficiency from this instead of the standard thru the drive,the motor is a 165 6cyl IL 250 Chev
in a 20' Tri it is WOT at 4000rpm with a 14.25x 17p 3 blade trimmed up runs at 62KPH on GPS.Motor is std 2b Roch runs on 98 oct and in good cond

Conventional wisdom and data shows that only big blocks gain any real advantage. I would especially doubt any increase whatsoever from your setup.

Nope, you wouldn't notice anything but the extra noise.
