Thunderbolt Ignition Trouble 65 HP Mercury
I have a 1972 Mercury model 650 3 cyl 65 HP. I was working on the motor when I accidentally shorted the ignition coil to ground. When I did this the engine died and wouldn't restart. I changed the switch box hoping that was what the problem was but had the same result. I have a manual and I belive that The coil is bad. Is there any other things that I should check please let me know. Any advice or help would be greatly appericated. Thanks in advance.
