I have a 1995 4.3L V-6 with the Thunderbolt IV ignition. My ignition module is on the distributor, _not_ on the exhaust riser. Do I ground a wire and set this thing to TDC in base timing mode, or do I just time it to 8 degrees BTDC at idle and then check it for advance at higher RPM's? I get conflicting answers when I search on this topic.
