Hi guys, I'm interested in a 2003 Tiderunner that I saw on a Tempest searching Craigslist. Seems like a good boat. In my price range anyway. Through back searching I see it's also here for sale on i boats. Then I see it's a dealer listing. Never dealt with a boat dealer before, only private parties.
I take it thats why I'm not getting a call back because its a dealer that is closed on Sunday.Anything to watch out for. Does that mean it's probably higher priced than if private sale due to someones commission. Does any one know anything about this particular boat?
Thanks in advance,
Paul

Is this boat at Brinsfield Boat Basin in Oregon? . . . says they are a consignment broker (so not a dealer in the pure sense). You may want to ask about that in terms of who is involved in any price negotiation. Seller (who they represent), or just them.

Yes sir, it is at Brinsfield boat basin. Current concerns are hours on 2003 motors and is it underpowered. Having trouble finding recommended HP specs on the boat. Looks like needs some gelcoat attention from dock scraping. Too small a motor kills the deal though I would think. Same years as hull though so very well may be OE engines. Says they replaced the steering cable. Red Flag as to water in the hull or common on an outboard bracketed boat ?
