ok Does a Trigger have sides? (can half of it go bad and not produce spark @ plugs and half still be good and plugs still fire?) like a stator?<br /><br /><br />Im new to outboards bare with me <br /><br />Thanx Ray
A trigger will have 4-8 wires coming out of it, usually 2 per cylinder. Any of the wires/connections could be broken causing one or more plugs to not fire.
