Tiller handle upgrade?

I have a 1986 Evinrude 30hp on my boat, and it has the very simplistic tiller handle consisting of throttle and kill switch. I see all these newer tillers with the shifter, electric start, etc mounted on the tiller handle, as well as the handle being farther out from the motor for easier reach. I'm wondering if anybody knows if there is a kit to convert my motor to a similar handle, or if retrofitting a newer handle is an option? Thanks in advance!

Retrofit kit, no, convert, possibly.

Most of the tiller handles mount in the same way, so if you motor has the small tab that sticks out in the center of the motor with two bolt holes in it, any of them can be bolted on. (the tab is where the steering arm would connect if it was remote control model.)

The issue would be connecting the throttle linkage and shift linkage, it's not a huge problem, but you may need to fabricate a couple items.
