I have a 1996 evinrude 225 vindicator (this new to me boat) I took it out for the first time over the weekend boat motor will raise up and down with the trim buttons like it should all works good but when I took it out for the first time and put it in reverse the motor wanted to raise out of the water when throttle was applied so now that its back on the trailer tilt and trim all work good but if I grab the lower unit I can manually raise the motor all the way up by hand I checked the manual relief valve and fluid all looked good and no leaks and the fluid level was full any thoughts on what could be the problem would be great thanks
