Tilt and Trim leakage

My 1992 Yamaha 200 tilt and trim leaks trim fluid. Is there a way to replace the seals or do I need a new unit. Is there a plastic reservoir that holds the fluid? I read that some have a plastic reservoir that can crack.

hello<br /> the 92 does not use the plastic resevoir. but all the seals are relativly easy to replacve. can you find where its leaking?

Rodbolt<br />I can't really determine exactly where the leak is. It seems to be worse when the motors are tilted down. Is there a rebuild kit for the unit? Thank you.

carefully inspect the trim ram tips for cracks.<br /> usually wherever its leaking will be wet with fluid. no there is not a kit yet all orings and backup rings must be ordered seperatly.
