I have a problem with trimer.when i push swich up the motor goes up with no problem,but when i try bring the motor down then no work.and now mine motor still all way up,i cant bring it down.any help guys please.
i had the same problem with my yamaha 150. the problem was that i was low on hyd. fluid. when i put the motor all the way up the resevoir was empty so the pump would not pull the motor down. i filled the resevoir up and bingo.
There is 2 solenoids on the engine . 1 has a blue wire and 1 has a green wire . one is up , 1 is down . you can here the one click that works and the one that does not click or dose click and the motor doesn't run is the one that is bad . The one that is bad and needs to be replaced
