I have a 1969 Johnson 85HP Hydro electric motor. The trim unit is external and has enough ATF in it and there are no leaks. I filled unit when the motor was in the down position. Was this how it should be done? I have searched and studied previous posts on this site but have not come up with a solution. The unit makes all the right sounds when I activate the "up" or "down" switch but the motor does not move. Any ideas as to the problem please? Many thanks
