I have an '83 Tracker with an 83 Merc 50hp w/ PTT. The pump and motor are in the bilge area VS hanging off the transom. This makes life slightly easier, but I need to know how in the heck to get the motor seperated from the pump for cleaning and inspecting it ? <br />I couldn't make out all the #'s on the motor, paint was missing.....it is a two-wire motor, up control = blue, down = green.
