Tilt and Trim question?

I have a 1979 charger, with 305 v8, 228hp. My question is my trim goes up fast and down really really slow takes like two minutes to go down, I have checked the fluid and it's full, and suggestions would be helpful. Thank You

Sounds like a bad cyl. remove the back bolt and run the system and only the good one will retrack

Thanks I will try that, it will go down if you push it down,just takes forever.
