tilt and trim - reservoir refill

Just finished rebuilding tilt/trim mototr on 1995 Johnson Venom 200hp. Motor appears to reun fine. How do you fill the reservoir and how do you bleed it. Looking at the rear of the boat the motor is on the left and what appears to be a resevoir on the right. There are no pipes to it and the only visible plug is in a round piece that stands proud by about 1 inch facing you.This is however right near the bottom of the reservoir.
If I just raise and lower the motor a few times will this bleed any air back into the reservoir.

That's your fill. Fill it up to the bottom of the hole, then cycle the engine up an down a few times. Recheck level and refill.

The system bleeds itself.
