Tilt and Trim swap

I have a 1987 Evinrude 48 SPL model Number 48ESLCUS, I am trying to find out if there is a way that the Trim assembly from a 1988 evinrude 50hp sorry dont have the model number,can be made to fit mine ? or if the complete transom clamp assembly will fit mine ?
