tilt and trim switch inop....

My tilt and trim switch on the control handle on my 125 Force is inop. Need help to repair. Was working fine when I put it in the water then suddenly stopped working. The one up front where the trolling motor still works. Please help.

Either the switch went bad or the power wire to it came loose. You can usually feel a bad switch, they either operate unevenly between Up and Down, or they get mushy. If it feels okay, concentrate on a wiring problem first (but don't eliminate a bad switch possibility entirely).

Thanks for your help, it was not the switch it was a broken wire at the bottom of the console. Looks like they tried to fix it before.
