Tilt and trim switch on 50 hp Jonny.

The up possition part of the trim switch is out or it has a broke wire in the stick on my 96 mod 50 hp jonny. it has the original omc stick that mounts to the side of the boat as it is a right hand console Sea Ark boat.
I find no screws to seperate the stick to get to the switch, I un glued the omc plate at the bottom of the stick no screws. This is the gear shift- throttle with the TR&T switch operation under your thumb. I have manual on motor but it dosent cover the controll mechanizem. ? /? ? ?
The motor has a t&t switch as is thier a bow T&T switch, up possition works fine on them so it has to be in the stick wireing or switch.

HoW DO I GET THE SWITCH OUT?

need to remove the control box,which will give access to the screw that holds handle to box,back side of handle has screws for the switch cover
