Ok guys I need help. I posted a couple weeks ago that my pump assembly motor had got oil into the top part where it isnt supposed to be so I was told I had to buy a new one. My local boat dealer said there was only one guy who could find me one like I needed within a couple hour drive. I have a 1977 johnson javelin 85 hp btw. And I remind u that my boat had no relays, solenoids or switches when I bought the boat. So this man gets me a new tilt trim motor, 2 used solenoids and a trim handle which is something I'd attach to my throttle lever with 2 buttons on it. So on one solenoid I hook the blue wire from motor to top post, red power cable from other top post to battery, on the two smaller posts on side I put blue wire from trim handle and the other is a ground to battery. And on other solenoid it's the same except for the green wire. I'm getting no juice by doing it this way so am I wiring it wrong or what could I be doing wrong?

In 1977 the system only had 1 solenoid.--------So post some pictures of what you have.

Well my tilt trim motor is a 3 wire and the man I talked to said I needed 2 solenoids for this to work, one for up and one for down. Should I only use one for up?
