tilt and trim

My115 yamaha 1999 outboard is titling and triming its self.
Is there a relay ? or is the whole trim motor bad? If there are relays where are they

the relays are on the front port side near the stater. most likly a bad trim switch.
try unplugging them to see. in salt water we have some failures with the cowl switch.
wont be the motor as it only does what the relays tell it to.
