Brand new boat, just grabbed off the lot as a 2008 leftover.

During the recent rains, I left the cover off of my 2008 Glastron 17' open bow with the 3.0 Volvo Penta. Apparently some water got in the tilt switch and it was making an intermittent buzz at the outdrive. I'm guessing since it was all the way up that the switch was intermittently providing signal to raise the drive up.

I disconnected the battery, shook the switch out, and wrapped it with a plastic bag fur the duration of the rain.

any damage?? It does start trimming with a different tone now............

Doesnt sound like it should have had that issue.
Its a boat.. Things get wet.

Id take it in for warranty service if you could.
