I have a 91 force 90 hp and when it is in the up position it drops not fast but not slow either. Could it need more fluid or replace the pump?

There is a sticky post on top of this forum. Read through it and most likely your problem is worn out o rings on the spool valves. There are instructions and parts list required to do the job.

Jiggz made a post about the testing and repair of the T@T.
With a few $ worth of parts, and his post you can probably fix it yourself.

IMPORTANT!!!!
The pump is a 2 part pump.
The top with the springs and ball bearing isn't usually serviceable.
The bottom is usually where the problem is.
So once you remove the pump, don't touch the top part.

The electric motor and reservoir, while your working maybe take it apart and clean the brush poop out of the motor.
The electrical connections are kinda weak in that area so be careful.

For the test procedure, what thread of end cap and plug would we need? The original post by Jiggz specifies "3/16” brass cap"

Is this the same thread as brake lines?
