Tilt pump bleed procedure

Hi, replacing my tilt/trim assembly on my 1993 4.3 with SP-C drive. Just wondering if there is a proper procedure to bleed these things while installing or do they self bleed? Thanks.

Ayuh,.... I gotta believe yer Volvo works like a Merc,.... Just run it up, 'n down a few times, 'n top off the oil,.....
