My season may be done if I can't get this fixed. A few months ago I lost the ability to trim the unit up under power but it will go down. I could get it trimmed up in neutral. When this happened I replaced the solenoinds and that didn't solve the problem. The connector and wires going to the the trim unit looked good. The boat is kept in the water and if I have to pay to get it pulled I am up for the season. Is there anything I could do with the boat in the water to address this issue or is there anything else I should look at?

not really<br /> if the motor is capeable of making power, can be check by an amp draw test, then most likly the pump is bad, about 300 dollars on the counter from a BRP dealer.be aware the screws that hold it all together like to break and the older steel motor housings dissolved in saltwater

Well turns out my problem was simply a cut wire at the helm that I guess when the lever was giving gas it seperated the trim up wire. glad it was minor allowing me a few more weeks of chasin' fish.
