'90 OMC 2.3l Tilt/trim not working. Stuck in the up position. The circuit breaker mounted on the T/T pump clicks when the switch is depressed. Fully charged battery. Is there anyway of testing this part or bypass it so I can at least get the drive down? I guess I could loosen a line and let it bleed down? Hate to make a mess and lose fluid. Thanks.

Green/White is Down
Blue/White is Up

There should be a Red wire on the large post of both relays. Jump across from Red post to Green/White wire on the opposite post on the same relay, it should go down if the motor/pump is working

Jumped the red to the green/white and seems the motor is just making a clicking sound. Guess I'll pull the motor and check it out.

Mine's a later Volvo/Omc hybrid that uses a circuit breaker mounted on the side of the motor. I smacked the motor a couple of times while jumping the wires and got it to work. Definitely going to replace the motor if I can get the screws out of the pump housing,,,,,,,,
