Tilt trim fluid

I have a 1990 Johnson 70hp VRO. I have left over Amsoil trans fluid I put in my Silverado. Can I use the Amsoil in my tilt/trim? Thanks Bruce

If it's Dexron 3. There might be other types that are ok as well that I don't know about.

Thanks for the response. Yes this Amsoil is for GM. I figured I have it why go buy something else.
