when i open the manuel lift screw, it does come up which would be fine but when it comes back down it is on high trim , and the switch wont lower it until i close the screw ,,but it does come down slowly , kinda like my 25hp for shallow , question, does it have a internal impack vavle that i can get a weaker screw for so it would kick up with a lessor impack to open

They do have an internal valve that allows it to kick up when hitting something. Of course they made it strong enough so it won't be sucking itself out of the water merely from running in reverse. I don't know about modifying it.

thank you for that,,,,,,,,,, i would like to make mine a little weaker , because i dont back up hard , ever ,, but i could sure use a easier kickup
