Tilt/trim on 1988 110 Johnson

Can someone please tell me how to wire three prong toggle switch on my 1988 javelin it has 110 Johnson on it

welcome.... a few more details would help but at a guess
If you are replacing a trim switch then you will need a 3 way toggle non maintained center return (the switch moves up or down and returns to center)
the top pin when mounted should be the green wire (down), then middle pin should be red (12vdc+), bottom pin should be blue (up).
when the switch is push down the internal contacts join the red to the green, up joins the red to the blue.

nope as long as the switch is non-illuminated then there is no ground (no light bulb built in the switch). Illuminated switch's have a fourth terminal. Your switch is operating relays under the motor cowling. The switch provides the power to the relays which are grounded inside the box at the motor.
