My son has a 1987 150 Mercury XR4, the tilt & trim either has a broken wire or loose connection at the Trim motor, When the trim is all the way down the wire going into the motor is bent over hard, and the trim will not work,If you move this wire at this point by hand you can get it work. How hard is it to remove the whole Tilt and Trim system to see if we can find the Problem?? Can any one help??
