Tilt Trim Question

I have a 95 225 HP Mercury 2 stroke.

What I would like to know is the procedure for removing the pin at the top of the tilt trim piston.

Does something lock it in?

Tilt the engine full up... Chock it with a block of wood or something similar... Remove the small cross pin that locks the main tilt ram pin in place. Drive out tilt ram pin...

I did not see a cross pin, but I was looking for snap rings.

I will look for the cross pin tomorrow.
