Can someone tell me how to get tilt & trim out of j115ez78 mount have 3 bolts starboard and 3 bolts port and top pin removed it is loose but don’t seem to have enough room to get out thanks for any help
You remove the motor from the boat.----Or remove 2 mounting bolts from one side and loosen the big nut ( 1-1/4" wrench ) to move one mounting bracket to get the extra room.
I got the 78 for a parts motor I found out it has a 82 model 140 motor on it my plan now is to put the 78 pt&t on my 83 if it will fit thanks again for your help
