Tilt trim stuck

How can I get engine up when the trim/tilt is inop. Its a Merc 150 EFI XR6. can I pull the tilt/trim pump &motor without pulling the engine agian. Thanks for any help Ron

Loosen the bypass screw on the starboad motor clamp and lift it up
