Hello all,
Long time lurker here who has gotten quite a bit of helpful info fixing issues with my 1989 Force 125. The tilt trim motor/resevoir bracket is cracked where it attaches to the engine bracket. Everything works fine, (had the pump rebuilt about seven years ago). I have two options available to me: 1) purchase used compleat motor/pump/resevoir assbly for $100, or 2) purchase new unit( for about $250. (I won't buy one of the cheaper units at $150). I have attached a photo. Hope it is visible. Looking at the photo, you will see a line running through the top bolt. You will also see corrosion between the trim bracket and engine bracket.
Thanks for all your help,
manzi

Re: Tilt/trim unit

buy new chinese motor and spray it over with flex-seal. you can find the raw motor+reservoir for under $100 if you search. anything used is running on borrowed time.
