tilt won't go all the way up on 501/DP-A

I'm going through things with my boat to get it going for the season. My drive will not go all the way up. It goes about half way then it sounds like there is air in the system but there is plenty of fluid left. The system definitely sucked some air in as it had ran out of fluid and I had to top it off. Is there a way to bleed air out?

It should be self bleeding by running it up and down. Did you have the drive all the way down when checking the fluid level?
