I have a minor issue, after running the motor in the tank, I tilted the motor (after disconnecting fuel line) and some gas would come out of the connector; anything to worry about? I dont recall having this happen to me before but not sure because when i usually tilt it, its with the fuel line on.

Just don't do it around an open flame, then you'll have a minor issue :D

100 % normal. when you tilt the motor the floats are out of level thus opening the needle valve.

You must not be the only one that gets nit picky about that kind of stuff. In this modern age of Thou-Shalt-Not-Dribble-Gas, the fuel connector has been redesigned. The new one has a check valve built in to prevent gas from running out. If it really bothers you, it can be retrofitted to your 1976. The new one is part number 393334. Send me a PM if you want to know where to get one for less than the $46.54 list price.
