With our imminent move to a new house we are getting a new mattress. 18 years ago we bought a natural latex foam and we had to make adjustments to it to work but as we age I think it's time to just get one that works out of the box so to speak.
So, I've been interested in the Purple for years mostly from the egg trick but also she is pretty hot. Anyone have one of those? (Bed, not hot chick)
Sleep number as well.
Adjustable? With a caveat. I built a platform bed frame and what amounts to giant kitchen cabinets that hang on the wall instead of traditional dressers and such. Scandinavian style. So I will use that and hoping any adjustable platform can be adjusted to fir inside existing.
I sleep half the night in bed, then move to couch because I sleep so lightly and adhere to the 'second sleep' theory so in those couple three hours I do not want to toss and turn and bother my wife. We both snore but she can sleep thru mine not so in reverse.
Im about 60, all joints are hurting. She's fine mostly (and a touch younger)
Tempurpedic is a no go, ex talked me into one of those. It was hard until it softened up the had to struggle to get out of the hole to turn over. Unless they have changed up.
What has worked for you?
Side note, here is purple ad from years ago.
