Just wondering if anyone has or knows how to time these motors? I have heard a few different things. The reason I believe that it needs to be timed is the stator under the flywheel went out, so I had to replace it. I was told by a few people that since replacing it it will need to be retimed. If anyone can tell me how to do it myself without having to spend the big $$$ it would be appreciated.<br /><br />Another reason I am thinking so is I took the boat out yesterday and she ran great except she only topped out at about 27-29 mph when she was topping out before (at WOT) at 35-38. Also the fuel consumpition was absolutely awful.
