Timing is Everything

With regard to earlier requests for help... first many thanks for those who have offered assistance. It appears the timing is well out. Can any one let me know how to resync it?

8 degrees btdc and maximum advance should be 22 degrees btdc @ 2500 rpms.

you resync it by hooking up timing light, with water supply and losening bolt that holds down distributor. then start motor and hold timing light over marks and turn distributor slowly until marks line up where you want them.
