Hey i have a 1975 johnson 50 seahorse. I was wondering what the timing marks are at idle and at full throttle. I'm a mechanic and i can't seem to find the answer, can anyone please help thanks...
on the edge of the flywheel, this procedure works extremely well, without the engine running. http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=228183 i will check but if i don't change it the mark you will be looking for is 15 btdc, using this procedure.
just verified timing is 19 btdc, with the above procedure you are shooting at 15 btdc.
