Hey guys I have recently done a link and sink on my 175 vro everything went good with my new manual except when I adjust my timming (in the lake idling in gear) to 7deg. Advanced I end up putting to much pressure on the neutral throttle lever so it moves up and stops me from going back into gear. The boat runs ok at 4 deg. Advanced it's been that way since I bought it but I would just like it running the way it should any help is appreciated.

How did it run before you adjusted this ---" idle timing "---Do you understand that the idle timing is the point where throttle plates open ?-----Where the engine timing is at smooth idle does not matter and looks after itself.-----Not the same as a 283 chevy timing !
