Tiny Tach Install question

I have a tiny tach on order to check operation of my motor at elevation. I noted a YouTube video where a guy wound the induction wire around both spark plugs rather than just one with no explanation.
Why would you want to do this?

Doesn't make sense unless maybe it was a 2 stroke tach on a 4 stroke motor? Just guessing.

Or he has a wasted spark tach on a non-wasted spark engine.

I guess I will find out if and when they ship me mine. Ordered it last Wed and nothing so far, haven't even charged me for it.

I have no idea what the guy wrapped the pick up wire around two spark plug leads for, but one lead will allow you to see the RPMs of your engine. But being digital it will probably do a little lower number/digit jumping. I actually have two of them and they do work pretty nicely...

because the guy was a french model on youtube..... seriously, im going with the guy was an idiot and wanted to prove to the world how much of one he/she was.
