Tire help

I recently bought my first real boat. It is a 1988 19' Blue Fin Sportsman 1950. The tires that are on it are 175/80/13. They are rated at 1350 lbs. My boat weighs 1650 lbs. What size and wt rating should I have. Thanks for any help

those tires should work, leaves you 1050 pounds for the trailer and gear

Welcome to iboats.

The tire weight rating on the sidewall is per tire.
So if each tire is rated at 1350, times 2 tires = 2700#

boat 1650
gas 150
battery 50
gear 150
trailer 500 ?

Total weight of approximately 2500#, so you have a 200# cushion.
