Tire pressure??

Hello,
I have a 1999 bayliner capri, I believe it is 19ft. I was wonder what PSI is recommended.
Load star K550 ST205/75 D

You can never go wrong inflating all trailer tires to the rated pressure on the sidewall.

I see the max pressure on my sidewall is 150 PSI. That is the only pressure I see on the sidewall, wouldn't that be over inflated? I am assuming you are not referring the maximum psi? I looked around the trailer and found a data tag and it recommended 50 psi.

That's the "Don't exceed this during mounting or the tire may explode" pressure. Look for the pressure in the load rating statement: something like "Maximum load xxxx pounds @ yy PSI".

50 psi SHOULD be correct IF the correct tire is on the trailer....

Look closer it SHOULD have another pressure on the sidewall... Most likely it will be like: "max load xxxx lbs at xx psi"

The "D" means bias ply tire, not load range.

Depends on where the D is.Will have the same designation on a radial tire.

The OP has never said what load range is marked on the tires, only the tire size. Actually, he never gave the diameter, either, so I'm using 15".

Which one is Load Range D? ST205/75 D15 or ST205 R15

Check this out. Same for trailer tires. Except the size will start out with an ST rather than a P. And if the D is in that string(instead of R), it means it's a bias ply. If the D has Load Range preceding it, well, that's what load range it is...
