TKS Info

I have a '05 4.3 Mercruiser with 'Turn Key Starting' on the carb. Hard to start! I ordered a '05 service manual from Mercury and they haven't been updated yet.I love paying $80 for a manual that doesn't match my equip.Anyone know where I might find service info and wiring diagram on the web. Thanks

There is a seperate manual for the TKS system. Merc part number 90-866202.<br />Manual #25 is for the engine and electrical system.

I looked at the manual this afternoon at work. It's manual #41 and is a suppliment to manuals 24, 25, and 28.<br />It does include the wiring diagrams for the TKS systems.<br />You would still need manual 25 for anything other than the TKS carb.

Thanks again Don. I have #25 so I'll get on the horn and get #41. And yes Quietcat it is under warranty and I will let the dealer fix it come spring but after 36 years in IBM's field engineering div I can't keep my fingers out of the pie.
