Was wondering if you should change periodically in ? years complete gas hose ? is it advisable to disarm the bulb if thinking you have an inside valve obstruction that makes engine fuel starve at wot ? throttle ranges fron idle to 3/4 are fine.

Before going for a new one, would like to check the old from (2006) Any ideas ?

Primer valves will typically stick open (can't prime well) rather than stick shut. Often the primer and hose get changed when they become too stiff. However, connector ends can suffer damaged o-rings, allowing air to leak into the suction of the fuel hose.

Paul,

Tohatsu fuel line connector's o'rings look good, so as not to lose precious time troubleshooting hose line issues, replaced the old with a brand new, guess what, all starving issues specially at wot are finally gone, the old hose primer bulb has an internal debris problem, will dismantle tomarrow to confirm and post what was found as an overall information.
