Took delivery yesterday. My first toon is home!

We picked up our new pontoon on Saturday. Even went for a little demo spin on the water (pretty chilly in Wisconsin yesterday). It was great to be out on the water, just wish I could go out again. I was very happy with the performance. We were a little apprehensive about a pontoon boat. We had a nice Sea Ray bowrider with a Merc 5.0 MPI and Bravo III .

The boat has hydraulic steering but still turns a lot harder than I am use to. I was still cranking it left and right cutting some good s-turns. The new Merc 150 four stroke was so quiet. I couldn't believe it. Had it pegged at WOT just cruising around.

Damn the whole rig is big, 25' boat along with trailer. The boat cover itself is a monster. I know it was my first time, but it must have taken me 20 minutes to put on... That is not going to be fun putting on at the end of each day.
I made sure to include pics. Enjoy and have a great Sunday!

Wow!!! that pontoon boat is so pretty I would hate to take it out on the water. I call that pontoon boat the "Cadillac" of all pontoon boats out there.

Very nice toon. She is beautiful. Take good care of her she will be a riot. Best of luck with it. I'd be out there as long as there wasn't ice on the lake.

Re: Took delivery yesterday. My first toon is home!

Thanks for all the complements! We went to the boat show early this year and fell in love with this boat. It was their showroom boat (small dealer) and they had it at the show. Manitou has their unique SES seating arrangement. We really liked the center couch that turns into "booth-like" seating with a table. This model has a VP mid-performance 150 hp max, so they had it packaged with the new Merc 150 four stroke. In a perfect world I would have gone with their SHP performance package but they did not have one. Plus it would have been a lot more money. I already spent way too much... :D

VEry nice,Manitou makes a very good boat ANd si considered one of the top makers as you can see.

The teak and polished stainless look really nice together, I am sure you will enjoy the boat, nice.
