Hey there,

I have a 1994 Ski nautique. Previous owner installed a heater. Diverted water from the engine to the heater and back to the engine. I needed to take out the heater so I plugged the "T" fitting at the top and the one at the bottom. The "T" fitting was added by the previous owner. Normally that sensor on the T sits closer to the block.
Was what I did acceptable?? Am I going to cause any damage to the engine by that sensor sitting up as high as it is? Water will still flow up there right?
sensor will work best if in the flow path of the water and not attached to a dead end nipple.

The only thing is I don't know how to take that "T" piece out. When I start twisting that black thing on the right prevents it from twisting out. Not sure if I can take that out???
Also.

the whole thing does not come off leaving a hole. It separates leaving that threaded pipe closest to the block.

Is it ok to run for now until I take it to someone???
