I'm looking for the tool to hold up the outdrive on a mercruiser. Keeps the drive up for service and trailering.<br /><br />my I/O is a 1968 mercruiser 120hp

I know the part you mean,it was a hooked device that held the drive up no matter what.The part #32657A3 is what it was.The part that replaces it #817019Q2,is,I believe,a plastic tube that clips onto the tilt pistons,and keeps them from collapsing.<br /><br />DHP

I've seen the plastic one for the cylinders, but that wont do me any good if I need to remove them. can always make one if I cant buy it. Just looking for the easy way out.
